UConn Today interviewed Associate Professor Paulo Verardi about Asian longhorned tick and his research with tick-borne diseases. Verardi is on the faculty of the Department of Pathobiology and Veterinary Science.
The Daily Campus reported on the establishment of a campus FFA alumni group. High school FFA programs allow students to explore careers in agriculture. The campus club will allow students to extend their high school FFA experience at UConn. Students Sarah Negron and Jon Tumolo, both officers in the campus group, were quoted.
UConn Today ran an article on the first Innovation Expo at UConn. It said that Department of Resource Economics graduate student Chris Bruno participated in the event.
