UConn Engaged. October 2016. Announced that animal science alumni, Laurie Macha, Josh Davis and Eric Fox, will speak at UConn on November 12 about “From Poultry to Penguins! What Came After UConn.” They will share what led them to their careers and why their current work at Mystic Aquarium is so important to endangered African penguins.
UConn Today. 11-1-16. Reported on the results of Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity’s study of how baby and toddler food and drinks are marketed. The article quoted Associate Professor Jennifer Harris, the lead author of the study, and mentioned Professor Valerie Duffy‘s collaboration in the research. The Daily Campus. 11-3-16. Interviewed Assistant Extension Professor Ana Legrand for an article about lady beetles that are clustering inside some campus buildings. Legrand is part of plant science and landscape architecture.
