UConn Today. 9-29-16. Announced that the Litchfield County Extension Center building in Torrington was renamed in honor of the late state Senator M. Adela “Dell” Eads. See also WTNH. 10-1-16.

U.S. News & World Report. 9-30-16. Included comments by alumnus Nathan Wojtyna about his impressions of UConn and his experience with chokeberry research. The college road trip article said that Wojtyna graduated with a double major in horticulture and resource economics.

CNN. 10-4-16. Gave suggestions, including some from Nancy Rodriguez, about the optimal amount of protein in the diet. Rodriguez is a professor of nutritional sciences.

UConn Today.10-5-16. Quoted Associate Professor Tatiana Andreyeva about healthy options through food assistance programs. Andreyeva is on the agricultural and resource economics faculty.

The Daily Campus. 10-6-16. Ran an article about an EPA grant for research into the economics of water quality. Those doing the research from the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics include Professor Stephen Swallow, Assistant Research Professor Pengfei Liu and Assistant Professor Charles Towe. An additional member of the team, Assistant Professor Ashley Helton, is in the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment. The article was written by staff writer and animal science student Marlese Lessing.
